Brick Trick

Also Known As:

Brickwork

The solver must enter words into a grid resembling a brick wall, typically starting with a three-letter word at the centre of the grid, with words fanning out above and below, increasing one letter at a time. A clue is provided for each word, which contains the same letters as its smaller neighbour plus one letter, usually forming an anagram.

Ideally, the puzzle should be compiled so that letters added to words in the top half of the puzzle are different from those added in the bottom half, resulting in the greatest possible diversity of letters in the largest words at the top and bottom of the grid.

Instructions

Enter the answers to the clues in the bricks in the wall. Every word contains the same letters as its neighbour, plus or minus one.
