Not what I was expecting
This is just the same types of puzzles you always get in Puzzler publications but themed around “old crimes”, so wordsearches, logic puzzles, sudoku, code-words etc.
From the description I had thought this would be “solving cases” in the way a (fictional) detective would do it.
So this is fine if you just want more of the same kind puzzles with a victorian crime aesthetic but not great if you want to actually play detective.
