Killer Sudoku
Germany
This magazine is dedicated to the most fearsome of Japanese puzzles, Killer Sudoku, which stands out as the most interesting of all the would-be successors to sudoku. (See the article on Killer in the online Puzzler Encyclopedia.)
The magazine contains 56 Killers, 12 Sudoku and three Kakuro. The puzzles are categorised in five levels: mild, medium, tricky, extreme and deadly. To help solvers new to the depth of solving techniques that can be required, the magazine includes a very detailed two-page guided tour to solving a Killer Sudoku, complete with diagrams.
The magazine is printed on high-quality paper in full-colour. The layout is clear and the puzzles are easy-to-see.
