Fundoku

This magazine is a fun and easy introduction to sudoku puzzles.

With sudoku's rise in popularity came more challenging, and more time-consuming, sudoku puzzles. This is not to everybody's taste.

Fundoku features only easy and medium difficulty sudoku puzzles. All puzzles are colour coded – either green, amber or red – to denote their increasing difficulty as you progress through the magazine. For added fun, each issue features a murder mystery – solve the puzzles and help solve the crime! There are also four wordsearch puzzles and two spot the difference puzzles, for a change of pace.

This magazine is an ideal introduction to sudoku. There are clear instructions, with diagrams, on how to solve a sudoku. The puzzles are much larger than the standard sudoku size you see in other magazines and newspapers, which is helpful for beginners and also for the visually impaired.

There are three competitions in each issue. Prizes change from issue to issue, but you can expect items such as shopping vouchers, electronic gadgets, board games and cinema tickets.

Fundoku is a very colourful magazine, printed on high-quality paper, and it is a convenient easy-to-carry A5 size. It is also available on subscription.
