Chat Puzzle Break

This large-format magazine combines puzzle variety with big prizes.

Each issue contains around 100 puzzles from across the puzzle spectrum, and offers over 100 chances to win a prize.

Over 60 different types of puzzle provide a challenge for every occasion. All the classic popular puzzles are included, such as crosswords, wordsearches, codewords, fitwords, sudoku and arrowords. New-style brain-training puzzles also feature: visual puzzles, logical challenges, numerical puzzles and quizzes to exercise mind and memory in many different ways. Giant Crossword, Two-timer, Double Acrostic, Logical, Quoteword and Jig-a-link may take some time to solve, but there are also tea-break puzzles such as Pathfinder, Cell Blocks and Spiral. Then, ideal for quick diversions, are puzzles such as Conundrum, Linkwords and Sprint. Celebs and showbiz knowledge might be called upon, too.

Six competition puzzles offer a total of £6,500 in cash and goods to be won every issue. Among the 100 or so prizes on offer each month is a cash jackpot of £1,000 and a Thomas Cook holiday. There will usually be vouchers to spend at well-known shops, an electrical item such as a computer or TV and, perhaps, a trip to a health spa or theme park.

Chat Puzzle Break has 68 pages, is similar in size to the weekly Chat magazine, and uses full colour. The magazine is designed to look fresh and friendly, without allowing anything to get in the way of the puzzles.
