I cannot remember a time when I have not been fascinated by puzzles. I have been involved in professional puzzling for over 30 years. During this time I have edited and compiled for many magazines, including the long-running title Puzzle Corner.

I have compiled the Radio Times cryptic crossword since 1999. A favourite puzzle creation of mine is the Whodunnit crossword. I have also had four crossword reference books published.

When not puzzling, I spend much time creating and taking part in quizzes, and have a particular interest in geography and literature.
