I joined Puzzler in January 2008 as editor of Chat Arrowords. I've always loved puzzling with both words and numbers and so I'm enjoying seeing the other side of the picture, compiling the arrowords and thinking up the themes behind them. It's a good excuse to watch television and call it work!

Before I joined Puzzler, I worked on magazines specialising in a wide range of areas including parenting, childcare, parks and gardens. A lifetime of working with words has given me a fascination with the letters that form them and so I am taking a course in calligraphy and illumination. It makes a very low-tech contrast to using computers all day, and is a peaceful respite from a chaotic home life, juggling the needs of husband, children and cats!
