The word-breaks in the empty grid and the punctuation provide all the assistance required to solve this puzzle. Shorter words are fairly easy to spot and, as the number of available letters falls, the remaining words drop into place.

As with all puzzles of this type, the interest lies in the pithiness of the quote. A less interesting variant involves dropping letters into an empty crossword grid.
